This innovative new program is part of an agreement between the Develop Africa and HomeGift Realty, Inc., a Massachusetts licensed real estate company that connects real estate agents with non-profit supporters.   This new program  - called "Develop Africa HomeGift Rewards” - allows home buyers and sellers to receive cash rebates on real estate commissions as well as get a tax deduction for any amount of the rebate they donate to Develop Africa. 
 

Buyers and sellers can use any full service agent – as long as they register for the program before hiring an agent.  After closing participants get a cash rebate on their real estate commissions.  Participants are then encouraged to share some or the entire rebate with Develop Africa. 

 
Thousands of agents around the country have already signed up for this and other HomeGift programs, including agents from all of the top firms, such as Re/Max, Century 21, Coldwell Banker, and GMAC.
