We are excited about progress and continually grateful for your support.  Be sure to read about the new Develop Africa Empowerment and Training Institute and how you can become a part of changing this community.  Together we are truly achieving significance - empowering and transforming lives.  The best is yet to come!

Our apologies for skipping a couple newsletters.  We got busy on other activities...

Featured: Launch of the New Develop Africa Empowerment Training Institute / 10 Ladies Receive Microfinance Tool-kits
We are happy to provide a construction update and report that the building for the new Develop Africa Empowerment Training Institute is almost complete and that the ladies have already started using the building.  This is great news and we are very happy for the progress as this provides a great foundation and learning environment.  This provides stability and room for growth.

The ladies are already using one of the rooms and they are very happy to have access to these facilities.

10 Sewing Tool-kits Donated By Choose a Need: A very, very big thank you goes to Choose A Need for donating 10 sewing machines  / tool-kits (pictured) to ladies at the institute.  These sewing tool kits have helped to build capacity for these ladies – helping them become self reliant.  This brought new life and excitement to the ladies, helping to motivate them.

The ladies expressed their gratitude using a range of signs with words like
- You are terrific!
- You are a real trooper!

Its with joy that we share a video testimonial by Seray - one of the female beneficiaries that we have together helped by providing microfinance funds.  Seray is a repeat recipient of micro credit funds.

You must be the change you want to see in the world - Mahamta Gandi

As Seray explains in the video, the fund provided has "really helped me - taking me from where I was to where I am now.  At least, it has helped me with my business, all through out the year, last year.  ...  It also helped me open a bank account. ...  I bless God for the people that initiated this idea.  I bless God for the partnership that was able to choose me to benefit from this funding.  I pray that that God will bless them in whatever they are involved in and their families."

Families in Sierra Leone face unprecedented challenges due to rising costs. Inflation makes it difficult for them to afford basic food staples such as rice, cooking oil, and onions.

Extending a helping hand can alleviate a significant burden and provide essential relief to the less fortunate.
