Tuition and Book Scholarship
THE PROMISE OF HOPE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Develop Africa, Inc. believes that education is a key component in bringing real and lasting change in Africa. Unfortunately, many youths in Africa do not have access to continuous educational opportunities because of the rise of youth drop out in formal education.
In instances where educational opportunities are available in the form of vocational and tertiary training, many students cannot afford the cost. We have heard stories of many, willing students who have had to quit without completing high or secondary education and vocational or tertiary educational, because of inadequate funds.Towards this end, one of the goals of Develop Africa is to create opportunities for promising but impoverished African youth through the provision of scholarships, when poverty would otherwise force them to abandon their studies.
The “Promise of Hope” Scholarship Program was established to provide assistance and increase educational opportunities and access to children and youths who lack the economic power to afford tuition fees and costs.

You are Making A Difference !! Promise of Hope Scholarship Update In 2007 a total 12 students were awarded the Promise of Hope Scholarship by Develop Africa. The scholarships covered tution, books and school supplies for a whole year. The Promise of Hope Scholarship was also officially launched in Kenya and Cameroon in addition to Sierra Leone and the Gambia ( the 2006 Promise of Hope Reciepient Countries) totaling four countries.
