Education is the key to unlocking the golden door of freedom for all in Africa.   It is the bedrock of social and economic development. The quality of education that children receive is affected to a very large degree by the supporting environment. This environment includes the access to essential learning materials - books and school supplies. Consequently, we regularly focus our efforts on strengthening schools as we realize that this is a great way to ensure that kids receive a better education.

Providing quality education to children reflects the fact that every child is entitled to fundamental human rights and is to be treated with dignity. Where children are exposed to poverty, violence, abuse, or exploitation, those rights demand our urgent protection.

Develop Africa is  enthusiastically supporting education in Africa by providing the following:

1. Books

2. School Books & teaching Supplies

3. School Supplies

4. Scholarships

How You Can Help:
Please help us by donating to help cover the cost of shipping of the school books and school supplies that have been donated but still need to be shipped to Africa.  A single drum costs over $200 to ship to Africa.   Every dollar donated gets us one step closer to getting these supplies into children's hands and we want to get ALL of them into the hands of the children that they were donated for.   Please make a donation today to help pay for shipping.

Another way to help cover the shipping costs is to consider buying or selling on eBay, click here for more information.
