Today Only: GlobalGiving will match all donations at 30%, up to $1,000 per donor per project on today  - Tuesday March 16th 2010. There will also be additional prizes of $1,000 each for the project that earns the most money that day and the project that attracts the most individual donors.

African Business Portal Development

Develop Africa is in the process of developing a business portal that will help network / connect businesses.  Portal will work towards networking business owners and investors both in Africa and outside Africa.  It is hoped that this resource will help to showcase the continent and provide connections and general information.

  • Help market goods etc,
  • Promote / expose African businesses
  • Provide miscellaneous tips that would be beneficial to African businesses and investors considering Africa - such as country profiles, investment climates etc. 
  • Local businesses could register on site (free). 
  • Have a photo album, links to hotels etc. 
  • Provide travel information, list of government offices. 
  • Provide web site design services - several pages hosted free or for a minimal fee.
  • Businesses could also advertize on the site for a fee
