Mariatu's Business is Growing Thanks to a Microfinance Loan

Generous donor support helps provide microfinance loans, which empower small businesses like Mariatu's. The goal of interest-free microfinance loans is to provide parents/guardians with the ability to support their families. Mariatu sells fries/snacks and candies at a primary school in her community. Through her business, she can support her kids, and two of her kids are part of the sponsorship program.

Paint Supplies for Talented Artist in Sierra Leone

Thanks in part to your support, Sahr, a talented artist in Freetown received quality paint and paintbrushes.   Sahr is full of potential and loves to paint on canvas, however, good quality paint and paintbrushes are scarce to non-existent for purchase in Sierra Leone.

Sahr was delighted to receive the paint and paintbrushes. The photo below shows the canvas painting that he is working on using the paint and brushes that you helped provide. In this video, he sends a word of appreciation to you.
