Girl Effect Campaign - Ask 3 for $10

You Are About To Start Something Phenomenal - A Revolution!

There are 600 million adolescent girls living in poverty in the developing world. By giving one of these girls a chance, you start the Girl Effect. When girls have safe places to meet, education, legal protection, health care, and access to training and job skills, they can thrive. And if they thrive, everyone around them thrives, too.

In Africa, over twenty-four million girls do not attend primary school, and boys outnumber girls in school attendance by at least 8 percent.  And of those girls who do enroll, 9 percent more of them drop out before the end of the sixth grade than boys.

Educate African Girls (EAG) Ask 3 for $10 Campaign is an initiative of Develop Africa set up to give focus and attention to promoting the education of girls in Africa. We are specifically enhancing the education of girls using technology and a computer lab.  Project provides enhanced educational opportunities for girls in Sierra Leone through a fully-equipped, multimedia computer lab. Access to the computer technology is enhancing teaching and broadening learning opportunities for children and teachers alike.

We have been invited to be part of the “Girl Effect”.  We strongly believe that all girls, regardless of the circumstances in which they were born, have the right to a quality education. A quality education will provide the foundation for a girl to realize her dreams and to be a meaningful contributor to nation building. We believe that all girls can be leaders and impact their nations; thus, EAG is helping to provide the less fortunate girls in Africa with the opportunity to live their dreams.

The Good News - We Can Change The Lives of Girls By Helping to Provide Enhanced Educational Opportunities!

Families in Sierra Leone face unprecedented challenges due to rising costs. Inflation makes it difficult for them to afford basic food staples such as rice, cooking oil, and onions.

Extending a helping hand can alleviate a significant burden and provide essential relief to the less fortunate.
