The educational system in many countries in Africa is less than ideal and many children learn under less than ideal conditions.

In many scenarios, the children sit on the floor and do not have walls in between the classrooms. The walls and roof are corrugated zinc sheets and they learn under the stifling heat. They do not have the necessary educational support structure – in terms of books, audio-visual materials etc. Definitely not the best of learning environments!
