Baptist Vocational Students Show What They've Learned

Your ongoing support has helped multiple vocational trainees at the Baptist Women’s Vocational Training Center.  There are currently 22 trainees at the Center and each student is working hard to create a better future for them and their families.

Students are being trained and empowered in skills like tailoring, adult literacy, catering, Gara Tyre dying, soap making and Craft & handwork.  See examples in this photo album from the current students at the Vocational Training Center.

Your generosity is truly making a lifelong impact on these students and their families. These students are learning skills that will help them be self-sufficient and provide for their families.  We welcome your continued support in making a difference in the lives of more vocational students.  We encourage you to start a monthly recurring donation here.  Even a few dollars a month will go a long way.  Please also share this with your contacts and invite them to consider supporting this ongoing project.

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.

Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.

Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.

Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
