"The books were distributed to three schools namely, Murray Town Army Municipal School, Saint Joseph’s Primary School and Tower Hill Kindergarten and primary School and the Christians in Action Church Sunday School.  Additional distribution will take place to two more schools when schools reopen.

The school authorities and the children were very pleased to receive the books. From the pictures you can see them scramble to have copies of the books. The Head Teacher of Tower Hill Kindergarten and Primary School was particularly happy for the nursery and classes 1-3 teaching materials (i.e. picture of animals and their names, painting materials, etc.), which very difficult to get out here. She particularly pleaded for more of such supplies in the future.

The other Head Teachers and teachers thanked A2Z School Supply and Mr. K.s  very much for their generous donation. The Sunday School children are also benefiting immensely from the materials.  The books and other teaching and learning materials are a blessing to the recipients, as these books are hard to come by here.

There is a specific need for pencils, pens and exercise books"

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.

Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.

Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.

Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
