Build a Classroom in Kamawornie

Children find it difficult to learn in crowded classrooms. Unfortunately, this is what many kids have to endure at the school in Kamawornie, Sierra Leone.

A dismal environment results in less than poor learning. The kids are seated very close to each other - 3 or 4 of them on some benches/desks. In this environment, learning is far from ideal.

We can change this by helping to finish a new classroom. The additional classroom will relieve congestion and enhance learning. Additionally, overcrowding increases classroom discipline issues. Average and below-average students will struggle to advance in an overcrowded classroom. More students in a class translate to more Teacher stress. This larger classroom will be a definite solution to overcrowding.
