Hi, my name is Roseline. I live in Freetown, Sierra Leone.  I've been part of the Develop Africa Sponsorship program for the past 10 years since I was in grade 4. I've completed high school and am ready to enter the University.

Samuella Dreams of Fighting for Justice for the Less Fortunate

Your support is helping young ladies like Samuella, get their education.  Samuella received school supplies, protective masks, and all her school fees for this year thanks in part to your generous support.  

Samuella is so thankful for your generous support that is making school possible for her this year. She is in her third year of junior secondary school or JSS3. Her favorite subject is English and she enjoys watching movies when she has time.  Her dream is to become a lawyer and fight for justice for the less fortunate people.

Homeless

Kadiatu is in year 2 of Junior High School. She dreams of becoming a nurse in the future, she has a heart full of compassion and loves taking care of sick people. 

She had to stop going to school this year because she had an unplanned pregnancy – a baby boy. She thankfully has recently returned to school and excitedly making progress.

Your support helped to ship the school supplies that she received. Thank you so much for bringing light and hope.

Mariama's Future is Bright

Your support is making a difference for young ladies like Mariama in getting their education.  Mariama is a passionate young lady who lives with her parents and three siblings in a concrete house.   She helps her mom with household chores and her younger siblings.    Mariama enjoys reading, studying, and going to school.  She is starting her first year of senior secondary school this school year and hopes to become a teacher when she completes school.   Mariama is very thankful for the educational support she has received.

Roseline is Ready for School

Roseline is in her second year of high school called Senior Secondary School Two (SSS2). She enjoys reading, music, and cooking.  Her favorite subject is science and she hopes to become a lawyer when she grows up so she can help fight for justice in her society. 

Kadija is Getting Vocational Training Thanks to Your Support

We are truly grateful for every donation and supporter of these young ladies, like Kadija, in Freetown. Your support has made a lasting impact on Kadija's life. She became pregnant during the Ebola crisis and had to drop out of school, but because of generous donors like YOU, she was able to start vocational training.   She tells us about her journey in this video-
