Children in Cameroon Need Our Help

Children in classroom Cameroon
Cameroon has become a country of refuge for over 280,000 displaced refugees. They are in a state of hopelessness, due to the lack of resources.
It is estimated by the UN that more than 58,500 children require treatment for acute malnutrition in 2018. 32,000 children are unable to access school and 40 schools have been destroyed. Many are in despair and destitute. Hopeless .

In many of the rural schools in Cameroon, children are struggling to write without a pencil or pen. In one of the schools, that our partner organization visited, 5 children shared a single pencil. Most of them lacked basic exercise books and basic school supplies.

They deserve better. We can help ensure a better education for them. Read more...

You can be a part of the solution by helping provide funds and school supplies needed for these children!

Please join us in bringing hope and a brighter future.

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.

Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.

Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.

Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
