Creating Pathways - Computer Lab Update

Hope you are doing well.

Here is a quick update.  December was a busy month of exams and motivational talks for the ladies at Creating Pathways Center. January and February were exciting months with the new computer lab opening and classes resuming.

The young ladies at Creating Pathways excitedly started computer training and were encouraged to work hard in all their classes for the remainder of the school year.   Your faithful support is helping to make their dreams come true.

YOUR Support is helping make a difference

Today, we specifically  need your support to cover the costs of the annual lease of the building facilities, that house the computer lab and classrooms.  Cost $6,000 USD.

This will enable us to continue serving these young women, helping them to have a bright future. Additionally, we plan to open us the computer lab to other youths this summer.  We are also considering a new location that will be very accessible to 2 secondary schools.  Exciting days are ahead...

Every bit helps - please donate today!

Scholarships & Classes at Creating Pathways Centre

Thanks to support received from GlobalGiving, 4 ladies at the Centre received funding to cover their school tuition / fees and cover related expenses.  The ladies were very excited and grateful for the scholarship and support.  A number of them have resumed regular, traditional schooling and making progress with their education.

All the ladies at Creating Pathways Centre are continuing their classes in financial accounting, economics, mathematics and language arts. Computer classes are held at the center two periods and four times a week, the reason being is because we want the ladies to have a thorough understanding in the subject. We are encouraging them to study and work hard because each of them are working toward a career.
