Items for Milton Margain School for the Blind

The donation included ballerina dance costumes provided by Step To Shine and educational tools provided by Develop Africa, designed to support students with visual impairments. The school is well known for its strong music and performance culture, and these costumes will be used during school presentations and cultural activities.

During the presentation, Emeka King of Develop Africa explained that the items were provided by donors who believe in equal access to education and creative expression. The school headmaster expressed gratitude on behalf of the management, staff, and pupils, highlighting how these resources support both learning and confidence-building.

A pupil from the school also shared appreciation, thanking Step To Shine and Develop Africa for recognizing the talents and needs of blind students. Listen to her in the attached video below:

This donation reflects a shared belief that children with disabilities deserve the tools to learn, express themselves, and thrive.

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.

Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.

Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.

Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
