Every Bed Net Distributed is Saving Lives

Malaria is one of the leading causes of child death in Africa. Bed nets are one of the main prevention measures that are used to combat malaria; because they have been treated with safe, residual insecticide that is used to block, kill and repel mosquitoes. Thanks in part to your support, life-saving bed nets are continuing to be distributed in Sierra Leone.

Adama

Twenty-five-bed nets were distributed recently to children in the Thompson Bay Community.  Adama, pictured above, is one of the children that received a bed net in the Thompson Bay Community.

We are convinced that together we will one day see a world with no malaria.   Thank you so much for your support!

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.

Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.

Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.

Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
