Four girls from the girls' mentoring group and four boys from the boys' mentoring group debated on the topic of formal education being the key to personal success. The boys mentoring group supported the motion that formal education is the key to personal success while the girls' mentoring group disagreed with the motion. Haja, Koterah, Marian, and Mariama (pictured above) debated on behalf of the girls and won the debate.

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.
