There is a dire need for educational books in Africa.

These books we have collected and sent are making a difference in enhancing literacy / reading skills in Africa.  Research shows that the early years involve the highest rates of learning. The habits that children form at a young age will stay with them for a lifetime. Childhood is therefore the best time to introduce children to and immerse them in the habit of reading. This habit will help educate and inform throughout their lifespan. Developing a love of books and reading is an important first step for a child to develop a love of learning in general. And when a child loves to learn, opportunities greatly increase.
