Impact of the Rachel Server on Girls' Education at FAWE School

We are happy to share with you the ongoing impact of your generosity on girls' education at the FAWE School. Recently, the FAWE girls had the opportunity to utilize the Rachel server. The Rachel server, short for Remote Area Community Hotspot for Education and Learning, is a portable, battery-powered device that provides access to a vast collection of educational websites in offline format. This innovative technology empowers students to access educational resources even in areas with limited internet connectivity.

In a heartwarming video, one of the teachers guides his student, Aminata, through reading her book titled "Colors of the Rainbow."

My name is Aminata.

'What's your story?'

Colors of a rainbow.

'Okay. Can you read it for me?'

A rainbow has seven colors. The first color is red. 'Very good.' Kenyu is wearing a red shirt. The second is orange. The third color is yellow. The yoke of an egg is yellow. What else can you see that is the color yellow? The fourth color is green. Our banana garden is green. The fifth color is blue. The sky is blue. The 6th color is indigo. These berries are the color indigo. The seventh color is violet. My dress is violet. Violet is my favorite color. What is your favorite color? Do you know the seven colors of the rainbow?

'Is that the end?' Yes, sir. 'Very good.'

'So with the Rachel Server, you can get all the information. So if I ask you again to open the Rachel server and come to the Rainbow book are you able to do it?'

Yes, sir.

Through engaging storytelling, Aminata not only enhances her language abilities but also develops a love for reading that will endure for a lifetime.

The use of the Rachel server in the classroom is a testament to the transformative power of technology in education. With your generous support, we are able to provide essential tools like the Rachel server, enabling girls like Aminata to thrive academically and beyond.

We are deeply grateful for your continued generosity, as every dollar donated makes a tangible impact on girls' education.
