Liberia's Future Leaders are Thankful for your Support

Your support is giving students in Liberia who live below poverty level a chance to get their education.  The future leaders at Henry B Bennah Public School are working hard to complete their second semester of school before summer break.

In January, the students and teachers moved into the newly constructed school building where students continue to demonstrate excitement and enthusiasm for learning.  The new facility provides a better environment for learning and students’ enrollment has remained steady throughout the semester.

The school year will end on July 13th and will reopen in early September.  An end of the year closing program is being planned and will involve a drama about the importance of education and careers.  Students are expected to identify the professions they are interested and act out those professions, for example, doctors, engineers, nurses, teachers, etc.   There will also be competitive sports events.

With your ongoing support, we are excited to aid the school in making continued improvements for the next school year.  You are truly helping the future leaders of Liberia get their education. Thank you for making a difference!

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.

Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.

Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.

Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
