Mariama Talks About Her Computer Lessons

Thanks in part to your support, more students in Kamakwie, Sierra Leone are getting the computer training they need for success in today's technology-driven environment. Mariama expresses her gratitude for the computer classes she is taking thanks to generous donors, like you.

My name is Mariama, I’m one of the pupils of Kamakwie Junior and senior secondary school. For today’s class, we learned how to switch on the computer, and how to switch it off, we also learned how to type; our topic was a composition about myself. I also want to thank Develop Africa for investing in this computer Lab. Thank you.

Educating girls empowers them to become future leaders, breaking the cycle of poverty within their communities.  Together, we can continue to empower girls and young women with education including computer training.
