Mentees Discuss What They've Learned

Mentoring sessions empower future leaders with the skills and knowledge they need to counter stereotypes and obstacles and it helps them become motivated and more confident.   Thanks in part to your support, mentoring sessions have made an impact over the past year. We asked mentees what they learned this past year in mentoring sessions.   Ibrahim, Nathaniel, and Frederick tell us in this video one of the things they learned from last year's mentoring sessions.

My name is Nathaniel. I want to say thank you to Develop Africa for the boy’s mentoring sessions that they have been organizing throughout the year. I have learned so much about time management, about being punctual when it comes to time especially when you are having an appointment. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Ibrahim. I’m a beneficiary of Develop Africa, and during the mentoring program, I learned about leadership.

Hi, I’m Fredrick. I’m one of the beneficiaries of Develop Africa mentoring programs. The mentoring program has really helped me greatly. They taught us about goal setting, which has helped me to plan my daily life, and goals for the year.

Your continued support is greatly appreciated as it will enable more mentoring sessions and educational resources for the future leaders of Sierra Leone. If you haven't had the chance to sign up for a recurring donation yet, we warmly welcome your ongoing support

Families in Sierra Leone face unprecedented challenges due to rising costs. Inflation makes it difficult for them to afford basic food staples such as rice, cooking oil, and onions.

Extending a helping hand can alleviate a significant burden and provide essential relief to the less fortunate.
