Corporate Partnerships, Business Giving and Employee Donations
We invite you to consider sponsoring or partnering with Develop Africa. Business and organizational partnerships are a powerful way to extend your company's impact while making a meaningful difference in Sierra Leone. According to American Charities and Project ROI, a well-designed corporate social responsibility program can increase employee engagement by up to 7.5%, increase employee productivity by 13%, reduce employee turnover by 50%, and increase revenue by as much as 20%.
Check out the partnerships with Develop Africa that are already making a difference — and join us.

Supporting a nonprofit is a great way to:
- Elevate your business or organization's profile by demonstrating social responsibility
- Develop strong public relations and community goodwill
- Increase business visibility and brand awareness
- Build a positive work environment through community involvement and charitable giving
- Provide morale-boosting activities that give staff and customers a genuine sense of purpose and impact
Donor and Partner Opportunities
There are several ways you can help — from one-time activities to long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. Here are current opportunities:
- Make Develop Africa your company or organization's Charity of the Year and get all your staff involved in campaigning and fundraising activities
- Sponsor a student's education through our scholarship program
- Fund the construction or expansion of a school facility in Sierra Leone
- Donate sports or school equipment
- Sponsor our publicity materials, merchandise, or website
- Equip a computer lab at our Develop Africa Sierra Leone (DASL) learning center
- Cover shipping costs for a container of books, school supplies, and computers
- Set up an Employer Matching Gift program. Develop Africa is a tax-exempt charitable organization eligible to receive Matching Gifts. Some companies will provide a 100% match, doubling the value of your gift. Applying for a Corporate Matching Gift is easy — some company intranet sites allow employees to apply online directly. Others provide forms that can be printed and mailed. Check with your HR department if you cannot find the link on your company web.
