One Million Books for Africa - Project Update

A shipment of books from our Million Book Drive recently arrived in Freetown, Sierra Leone.  The books were distributed to two schools in Freetown namely the Forum for Africa Women Educationalists (FAWE Primary School at Fort Street and the UMC Primary School at George Brook.  The principal, staff and students were grateful for the donation of the books and students pledged to make optimal use of the books. Thank you partners for making this dream a reality.

We wish to acknowledge the generous donation of books to Develop Africa’s Million Book campaign by Mr. K’s Book store in Johnson City, Tennessee. Thank you for helping us making a difference in Africa.

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.

Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.

Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.

Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
