It is with great joy that we share the story of Isata. Thanks to your support, we together have helped to enhance her business and improve the standard of living of her family.
Here's a progress update from the field from a smiling young man called Abdul that is sure to warm your heart.
Develop Africa in partnership with AID SL offered a month of computer training in office applications that helped Abdul transition from computer illiteracy to literacy. The training made a smiling Abdul "well equipped". Consequently, he explains, he has obtained a job offer and will start work in 2 weeks.
It is with excitement that we share this update and photos from the school. The girls are very excited and proud to be receiving the computer training. For them this is a dream that they never believed would come true. This is so very significant as it is helping them to realize that they are valuable and that everything is possible. Thank YOU so much for helping us place value on them and their educational and psychological development.
We have recently updated our partnership page with Ammado - and provided one additional way to reach out and connect with friends worldwide. You can also support our programs / make a donation through Ammado.

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign
On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands
of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.
Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.
Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.
Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
