Business is Growing for Aminata Thanks to her Microfinance Loan

We greatly appreciate your support that is empowering small businesses. Our microfinance or microcredit loans give individuals a helping hand to start their businesses or to help them grow their existing businesses.  Aminata is one of the small business owners that recently received a microfinance loan and she is also a mudslide survivor.

Educated Girls Become Empowered Women

We greatly appreciate your support that helped a group of young ladies receive training on sexual health from a health worker. Many adolescent girls become pregnant because they lack the information needed to make informed decisions about their sexuality, family planning, and reproductive health and the training they received gave the young ladies the tools they need to make important and educated decisions.

No More Mosquitos at Night

Thanks to your ongoing support we recently provided 30-bed nets to families in Sierra Leone that were directly impacted by the flood and mudslide disaster in 2017.   The long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) they received are keeping the mosquitos away at night while they sleep.  The nets have been treated with safe, residual insecticide that blocks, kills and repels mosquitoes. Pictured here is Isata receiving her new bed net.

Umu is Thankful for her Computer Training

We greatly appreciate your continued support of computer skills training in Sierra Leone.  One of the current students, Umu shows us how she has learned to use Microsoft Word in this video and tells us how the Computer Training Center has impacted her life:
