Thank you so much for faithfully supporting this project over the past 7 years or so.
Over the years, we have provided basic computer training to hundreds of girls at this school. This was possible because of YOUR faithful support.
Thank you for your support that is giving students who live below poverty level a chance at receiving an education.
Education is the key to success. Educating these future leaders in Liberia is giving them the ability to get out of poverty. Educating these children will give them and all future generations what they need to thrive.
Since the last report, you have donated a total of $65.00. These funds helped to cover operating expenses at the school - ensuring that the kids learn each day.
Thank you for your continued support in helping us provide each child with a safe, reusable solar light! With these lights, the kids are able to read safely at night - with no exposure to harmful fumes from naked flames.
Thank YOU so much for helping to provide educational support for Hawa.
Through your support, she has received some funding to help pay for her tuition, books, school supplies and related school expenses. We are so very grateful and thankful for your support.
In the included photo, you can see her holding a "Thank You Global Giving" sign - acknowledging and appreciating YOU for your support. This has made a big difference - helping to ensure she stays in school.
We are excited to bring you an update on the 3-day workshop for youths / young ladies that you helped to provide.
The 20 girls (ages 12 to 20 years) that attended were very eager to learn and thankful for this opportunity.
These workshop topics were carefully selected based on the high teenage pregnancy rate. Adolescents and young people must be provided with the right information about the changes that they go through.
The topics included:
Aminata lives with her parents and siblings in a mud house. They cannot afford to send Aminata to school, however trough generous donations, she has received funding to help pay for her tuition, books, school supplies and related school expenses. Thanks to your support, Aminata is enjoying school.
Over the past 8+ years, we have together provided thousands of hours of training for youths and youth groups. During my last visit to Sierra Leone on July / August last year, the youths that I met enthusiastically expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation for your kind support.
Computer proficiency is increasingly essential for relevance in today's computer-driven society. We are committed to continuing to empower youths and girls in this area.
Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign
On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands
of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.
Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.
Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.
Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
