Imagine living with ZERO or limited access to computers. This is what life is like for Marion and hundreds of other disadvantaged youths in the Wellington community in Freetown.
How It Started: In 2012, the leadership of Develop Africa and Door of Hope agreed to undertake a joint building project - located in the Wellington community (Hill Side Areas of Beccle Street, Mellon Street, Phillip Street, etc.). The overall goal was to establish a Center that would be a hub of development activities in the community.

We just wanted to share a share a photo of Doris - all smiles - proudly holding a letter and some pencils / crayons received from Alex, her sponsor.
Thanks Alex for bringing joy through your friendship with Doris
Educational Excursions Galore at the Bitame Lucia School in CameroonIt's been a busy season of educational excursions for the kids at the Bitame Lucia International School in Cameroon. We realize that education extends outside the classroom - so we have been providing excursions to different locations to ensure our children have a diversified and complete education experience. YOUR support has helped make this possible. Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools. Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility. Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation. Every $25 helps children write their dreams. |
