Strengthening Education at the UMC School in Cabala Town, Sierra Leone

Thanks to your ongoing generosity students at an additional school are now using new books and supplies. These supplies are strengthening the educational foundation of kids at the UMC Calaba Town Nursery / Primary School. There are 160 pupils in the school, aged 3 - 16.

The kids and teachers were delighted to receive the supplies.  Joyce Kosseh, the Head Teacher, sent a letter expressing her appreciation .  We are so excited about the opportunity that we have to help build a stronger generation of leaders in Sierra Leone.

Book distributed UMC school

Schools are still in session in Sierra Leone and will close in July.  The children are looking forward to their break.

A new batch of school supplies and books was recently shipped and will arrive as the summer closes and the children get ready to start the new school year.

Your continued generosity and support is what enables us to continue to help educate these future leaders of Sierra Leone.

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.

Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.

Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.

Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
