Vocational Training is Making Futures Better

Your ongoing support has helped multiple vocational trainees at the Baptist Women’s Vocational Training Center.  There are currently 50 trainees at the Center and each student is working hard to create a better future for themselves and their families.

The vocational training center was opened in 1998 and since its inception, the institution has trained women to be self-reliant and to make a meaningful contribution to the country. Young women are being trained and empowered in skills like tailoring, adult literacy and numeracy, catering, micro-enterprise, soap making and arts & crafts.

Your generosity is truly making a lifelong impact on these individuals and their families.  We welcome your continued support in making a difference in the lives of more vocational students.

Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign

On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands

of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.

Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.

Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.

Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
