Thank you for your support to providing uniforms for students for school. While, we did not raise enough money to provide 40 students with uniforms, we were able to give uniforms to 2 young ladies who were delighted to receive them.

Educating girls has a wide array of positive benefits that affect not only the girl receiving her education, but to the entire nation. Statistics say that women make up 2/3 of the illiterate in the world.  

So what difference would it make if all women had a chance to get an education? 

Your support has helped us provide mosquito nets to families and children who are now sleeping well at night, free from mosquito bites and malaria. Salamatu, Mariama and John (pictured) are so grateful for your support.

Statistics indicate that less than 10% of children sleep under protective nets in Sierra Leone, where malaria is still a frequent and killer disease.  

Your donations are making a positive impact on the next generation of leaders in Freetown. Thanks to your support we have been able to send and distribute books and school supplies to the United Methodist Church Primary School at George Brook, Freetown.  

Through your support, we have moved one step closer to purchasing a bus for the Dream Home. At this point, we have not raised adequate funds to get a bus, but every bit helps us get closer to the goal.

We plan to continue working to raise the necessary funds to assist in the purchase of a 25-30 seat bus for the Dream Home. So if you have any suggestions on what we could do - please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Mariama is so thankful to have received some the microfinance funding to start her small business.  In the photo included with this report, she is showing some of the personal hygiene and other supplies she purchased to start her business. Mabinty is likewise very thankful to have received funding for her microfinance loan to start her small business. 

Thank you for the donations that we received to help bridge the "digital divide" for the young ladies at the Creating Pathways Centre.  At this point, we have not raised adequate funds to get internet access yet.  Every bit helps move us in the direction of bridging the gap.

Your generous support provided Aminata with a solar light, which makes a significant improvement on her ability to study at night.
