Kissinger School Update

Your support is truly making a difference for future leaders in Ghana. With your support students are continuing to get an education and a nutritious meal at school.  This school year there were 18 students that took the basic examination to start senior high school next school year.

The school expressed their gratitude for the support they have received this school year. With your support, more kids will have access to education and therefore greater opportunities and be better positioned to contribute to the community and national development.

Ten Flood Affected Students Get Educational Support

We greatly appreciate your on-going support that continues to bring hope to flood victims in Freetown.   Many families in Sierra Leone were displaced due to the flooding and mudslide disaster that took place in August of 2017.   Your support most recently helped 10 kids, four boys and six girls, that received financial assistance plus assorted supplies of a dozen exercise books, colored pencils, crayons, pencils, erasers, and sharpeners.

Vocational Training Makes a Difference

Thank you for your ongoing support that has helped multiple vocational trainees at the Baptist Women’s Vocational Training Center. Trainees at the Center are working hard to create a better future for themselves and their families. Technical and vocational education and training (TVET) is one of the three main priorities outlined by UNESCO and has been identified as the focus for the most important annual report on education, the Global Monitoring Report, in 2012.

Your Educational Support for Young Girls, Impacts the Nation

We greatly appreciate your support, which is helping young ladies get their education like Elizabeth and Hannah. These are only two of the girls that your support has directly impacted.   Elizabeth is finishing her first year in Senior Secondary School (SSS1). She loves going to school and would like to become a journalist. Hannah is finishing class 4 this year. She loves dancing and going to school.
