Thanks to your ongoing support, more future leaders are ready to start the new school year.
Because of YOUR donations, they have received school supplies and scholarships making the cost of education possible.
Thank YOU for helping provide a partial scholarship for Christiana.
Through your support, she has received funding to help pay for some of her tuition, books, school supplies and related school expenses. She is a step closer to becoming a Certified Accountant; her desired future profession.
We are so very grateful for your support. In the below photo, Christiana is holding a "Thanks GlobalGiving" sign - acknowledging and appreciating the generous supporters through GlobalGiving..
Thank YOU for investing in this project and the education of girls.
Funds from your donations helped purchase 3000 cement blocks - shown in the included photo.
When this is completed, we will be able to launch a poultry of over 1000 egg-laying hens. Funds from the sales of eggs will provide sustainable, ongoing supporting scholarships for girls like Edna.
Thanks to YOUR support, in June, we distributed school supplies to 36 girls at the FAWE school in Freetown. Your donations made this possible and helped to cover shipping costs from USA to the school.
The girls were elated to receive the supplies and you can see the excitement and broad smiles on their faces in the photos. They send their deep appreciation to YOU for helping to get these supplies to them.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has predicted that on the 21st of August, 2017, something unusual and phenomenal is likely to be witnessed on earth. The sun will disappear briefly causing the day to turn into night.
Thanks to your support, we raised $188.52 since the last report. These funds have helped cover the running costs of the school and staff salaries.
Over the past semester, the younger kids have been learning how to read, spell and write. They are making progress despite the unfavorable learning environment - with many of them sitting on the floor. This is the primary challenge that the school is currently facing - inadequate chairs.
Make a Difference Today: Donate to the Year of the Pencil Campaign
On November 20th, this movement placed over 100,000 pencils into the hands
of children across Sierra Leone in 20 schools.
Each pencil tells a story — of hope, opportunity, and possibility.
Education is more than lessons — it’s liberation.
Every $25 helps children write their dreams.
